Sal Parker is an illustrator who enjoys focusing on subtle narratives, within children's and adult fiction publishing. Using mixed-media and dynamic compositions, she calls attention to small-scale personal stories. In doing so, she seeks to highlight narratives that might be easily overlooked. This comes from a belief that personal stories, focusing on individual experience, have a quiet importance, and should be stated. Within commission work, Sal has enjoyed visualising fiction narratives, to bring them a sense of reality and tangibility.
