Adult Fiction Illustration

I created three internal illustrations for Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's short story, 'A Private Experience'. I used the sequential illustrations to focus in on the small-scale, personal conflict and resolution between the two women. I wanted to celebrate the ultimate resolution from the two opposing characters, who are on opposite sides of the larger scale religious conflict in the narrative.
