Standalone Illustrations and Exhibition Design
Date: 2023
These illustrations were my responses to collection items provided by the Holocaust Centre North. I focused on illuminating the personal stories of a refugee hostel in Bradford, which protected a group of children during the second world war. I researched their children's first-hand accounts of life at the hostel. Taking small moments from their experiences, I planned to display them as large stain glass windows, celebrating the positive impact the hostel had on each of their lives, by allowing them all to safely grow up.
